I had my last Karrimor rucksack for 25 years and finally gave up trying to repair it once the seams themselves actually disappeared. I had no sense of loyalty to Karrimor but after doing due diligence on dozens of different websites and in outdoor shops in London W1, I went for this one. And I was ready to send it back if I had any doubts about the quality. Getting it delivered was like Christmas - it totally blew my expectations out of the water. I don't know where they got it made, but whoever made it did an immaculate job. If I had my last Karrimor for 25 years, this one will be buried with me. So that this doesn't look like I'm some sort of gullible muggins, there are of course some negative points. It is on the expensive side, admittedly. Plus it is not that easy to work out which extra bits to buy for it like outside pockets or pouches because the shops didn't have them and online is just difficult looking at photos. Lastly, v. good customer service. They sent me a free chest strap when I queried why the one supplied was elasticated. To conclude, I'd say this is probably the best rucksack out there in terms of features and quality. Guess it has to be if it's being used by the armed forces.
